Career Technology Center Offers Middle School Students Opportunity to Explore Careers

CTE Summer Camps Offered Free to Incoming 5th and 8th Grade Cabell Schools Students

This July, the Cabell County Career Technology Center is offering Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Camps for Cabell County Schools students entering the fifth and eighth grades during the regular 2017-2018 school year.

The purpose of the CTE camps is to introduce these students to various career opportunities they may be interested in pursuing in the future.  Each student will be able to select and participate in two programs.  Programs include Law Enforcement, Forensics, Business Administration, Building Maintenance, Welding, Graphic Design, Machine Tool, Electrical Technician, HVAC Technician, and Basic Construction.

The camps are offered free of charge; however, space is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
