About Miller

Miller Elementary located at 12th Avenue and 7th Street in Huntington, WV, taught grades 1-6.

In 1915, Miller Elementary was constructed.

In 1954, the building had its 1st addition.

In 1958, the building had its 2nd addition.

In 1977, the building had its 3rd addition.



The school was consolidated in 2007. The name of the Elementary for Miller and Cammack Elementary schools will be “Southside Elementary”.

In 1986-87 school year there were 335 students.

In 1987-88 school year there were 321 students.

In 1988-89 school year there were 326 students.
